"The start into professional life is an important step and we attach great importance to qualified training and of course to motivated trainees", said trainers Michael Tost (commercial area) and Dirk Bräuer (for the industrial area) when welcoming the three new trainees at Templin Automotive. Despite the current situation, the company is investing in the future and creating the framework conditions for this through an intensive introductory phase with a wide-ranging programme. After getting to know each other, the trainees can expect a diverse range of courses, internal and external training courses and a very good working atmosphere.

Mr. Leon Becker starts in logistics as an apprentice as a specialist for warehouse logistics, Mr. Oliver Krause and Mr. Vitali Schneider start their apprenticeship as a merchant in wholesale and foreign trade.

Mr. Andrew Wood will strengthen the sales team of the commercial vehicle specialist from 01.06.2020. ST-Templin Automotive GmbH thus has another very experienced commercial vehicle professional on board.

As Key Account Manager, Mr. Wood will be responsible in particular for Great Britain, Ireland, Scandinavia, Iceland, Spain, Portugal, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and the USA.

Andrew Wood looks back on over 30 years of automotive aftermarket experience for commercial vehicle wear parts. He began his professional training and career in the UK in the field of automotive electronics and fuel injection. He developed his passion for commercial vehicles at MAN Trucks UK, before finally working very successfully in IAM as 'Sales & Marketing Director' at European Truck Parts Ltd. In 2010 Mr Wood came to Germany to work for PE Automotive. After more than 13 years, Mr. Wood decided to leave PE Automotive to seek a new professional challenge.

"We are delighted that we have been able to win an experienced, extremely popular and internationally networked commercial vehicle professional in him. With his extensive experience and excellent product knowledge, Mr. Wood will support and shape our international expansion in the long term," says Managing Director Thomas Lück, describing the decision.

Since the end of last year, Mr. Christian Senger has also been strengthening the international sales department at Templin Automotive as Key Account Manager. Mr. Senger is particularly responsible for the Baltic countries, various Eastern European markets and the Balkans.

Christian Senger looks back on almost 20 years of automotive aftermarket experience for commercial vehicle wear parts. He started his professional career at the company Wilhelm Löchterfeld GmbH before he joined PE Automotive GmbH & Co. KG where he worked in the area of customer service and technical training. As Area Sales - / Key Account Manager at PE Automotive he also worked for several years for international customers.

ST-Templin Automotive GmbH, based in Coppenbrügge, specialises in the development and production of components and systems suitable for all major European commercial vehicle manufacturers. In the International Automotive Aftermarket we supply over 21,000 different commercial vehicle wear parts to renowned commercial vehicle specialists and vehicle manufacturers.

The core competencies of the product range, which extends over 21 assemblies, are spare parts for disc and drum brakes as well as for axles and chassis. Templin is now the market leader in the European aftermarket for brake discs for trucks, buses and vans: with more than 430 items, most of which are tested according to ECE R90. Using state-of-the-art casting and processing machines and using high-quality metals, Templin manufactures brake discs of OE quality that meet all automotive standards. To optimize the iron casting matrix, the company uses only the latest metallurgical technologies. The aim is to reduce thermal damage and cracking. Templin brake discs are balanced to 100 % and provide a comfortable, consistent feel during braking.

Not only brake discs, but also around 120 associated brake pads are part of Templin's current product portfolio. These are also tested in accordance with ECE R90 and tested for excellent braking performance at temperatures of up to 480 degrees Celsius. A running-in coating for better operating characteristics after initial installation additionally ensures low wear of the brake disc. The repair unit is completed by matching wear sensors as well as ABS rings and sensors.

Product range is constantly being expanded

Templin's product range now comprises more than 10,000 different products. And this for all leading vehicle manufacturers. Among others, expansion tanks, starters, generators and electric cables as well as numerous spring bolts, special bolts and brass bushings are to be found in the product range. All of these products are also supplied to well-known vehicle manufacturers. A new and successful product field are wheel hubs from our own production for a variety of newer vehicles. The available number of wheel hubs without bearings is over 140 different types as well as almost 50 wheel hubs with bearings. All wheel hubs fitted with bearings are exclusively fitted with branded bearings from well-known premium manufacturers.
